How ironic that Spiderman is being held down by a large net. This great photograph by Stuart Sperling shows a Spiderman parade balloon as it sits on either West 77th or West 81st awaiting the next morning start of the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade along Manhattan’s Central Park West.
The postcard was issued in 2000 as part of a promotion by Realestate agent DJ Knight to raise money for Bailey House, a leading provider of housing and support services for homeless men, women and children with AIDS in NYC.
