This rare postcard features a great photograph of Mick Jagger. It was issued in 2004 to promote the relaunch of Colors magazine.
The image by photographer Lynn Goldsmith shows Mick with his back to the camera facing a sea of excited fans at an outdoor Rolling Stones concert. He is shirtless with his arms raised overhead.
Lynn Goldsmith was originally going to use the image for the cover of a book she was publishing but had to reconsider given the exposure the photograph got from the magazine.
The postcard is rare because, although the photographer is identified, there is no indication the subject is Mick Jagger. Because of this the card was passed up by most collectors because they thought it was just an anonymous image.
The cards were issued by Max Racks a promotional postcard company.
