Lord of the Rings Postcards
These are two RARE promotional postcard for the film of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring being the first part of The Lord of the Rings. They are as follows:
A great photograph of Frodo, played by Elijah Wood holding the ring, "the one that will rule them all". Frodo is in the home of Bilbo Baggins, Bag End, and is lit by candle light. A round doorway typical of Hobbit homes is visible in the back ground.
A beautiful scenic photograph of the Shire comlete with burrows with round doors.
The postcards were used to promote tie-in editions of Tolkien's books and were only available at Barnes and Noble stores. They were published by the Go Card promotional postcard of "freecard" company.

As an added bonus, in addition to the postcard a business card sized Lord of the Rings picture card is included. This was used as part of the Promo for the follow up DVD and VHS sales of the movie.
